Open Gardens is, at it's heart, a community fundraising event, and we are proud that all proceeds from the day go directly towards supporting local charities and good causes.

Every ticket purchased, raffle entry and auction bid helps make a meaningful difference within our local area. We are incredibly grateful to our generous sponsors, whose support as local businesses and resident makes the event possible, and to everyone who has kindly donated prizes for the raffle and charity auction.

Their contributions, along with the enthusiasm of our visitors, help ensure that the day is not only enjoyable but truly impactful for the community.

How Do We Select Our Charities And Good Causes?

In the nearly 40 years the Marton cum Grafton Open Gardens event has been operating, we've built up long standing relationships with several of the charities and good causes that we support. Many of these will offer to support us in some way on the day.

Each year the committee receives requests for funding from different organisations and we do our best to distribute fairly based on need. Whilst the requests for funding always exceed what we have available to distribute, if you have a good cause or charity that operates locally or is close to your heart, please contact us.
