The Open Gardens
Every year around 15 of the best gardens in Marton cum Grafton open to the public. From traditional English gardens to contemporary designs there will be something to interest everyone. View this year's list of Open Gardens to plan your visit.

Fun on the Green
Be sure to visit Grafton Green, offering something for all ages to enjoy in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Children and adults alike can take part in traditional garden games, explore the tractor up close, and browse a variety of lovely stalls run by local groups and makers. You can grab a hot dog fresh from the BBQ, enjoy a refreshing drink from the Airstream Bar, and support the fantastic Friends of Marton cum Grafton Primary School, who will be helping to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
Grafton Green is also where you'll find an admission point, toilets and a bus stop to take you around the village,
Food and Drink
Fantastic food and drink can be found across the Village, look out for:
- Village Hall in Marton, homemade gooddies, with savoury quiches, salads and fresh sandwiches for lunch. Delicious cakes, tea and coffee served throughout the day.
- Grafton Green, hot dogs, ice cream and a Bar
- Highfield Croft (Garden #5), treat yourself to tea, cakes and cold refreshments served by the ladies of the WI as you enjoy this beautiful garden.
Farm Animals
Families will love meeting our friendly farm animals, with sheep and cows joining us on the day to bring a true countryside feel to the event. A favourite with children and adults alike, offering a lovely opportunity to get up close to these familiar farmyard animals and learn a little more about rural life.
